Nearly three decades ago, Donald Meyer laid the foundation for our family-owned and operated business right here on the captivating shores of Cape Cod, MA. With a distinct flair for the Cape Cod aesthetic, he cultivated a business that echoed the charm and character of this beloved region. Today, his sons, Darren and Trevor, stand alongside him, continuing the legacy of the family business. Having grown up on the Cape, they possess an innate understanding of the local landscape, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

DESIGNER
Donald Meyer
With 30+ years of experience in the industry, Don has designed over 1,000 homes and businesses all around Cape Cod. From small home additions and remodels to full custom home designs from the ground up, Don has a wealth of knowledge that he can bring to your project. His style is uniquely and classically Cape Cod. He has built his name and solid reputation from word-of-mouth recommendations, one satisfied customer at a time.
Don has been married to his wife Sharyn for 35 years. They live in Yarmouth, in a home they built nearly 30 years ago.
ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER, TITLE V SEPTIC & SURVEYING
Darren Meyer
Darren is a graduate of the University of NH, Civil Engineering program. He followed in his father’s footsteps and launched a successful career in Title V Environmental consulting and septic plan design under MA DEP law.
With 15+ years’ experience, Darren offers a broad understanding of state and town regulations for all your surveying, septic and land planning needs. From the permitting process to the final certifications, Darren is dedicated to keeping the project on track and running smoothly.
Darren lives in Sandwich with his wife Tina, and his two children, Brady and Lauren.
BUILDER/PROPERTY MANAGER
Trevor Meyer
Trevor is a graduate of Rhode Island College with a degree in Operations Management. He joined his father and brother in the building industry and has overseen dozens of residential and commercial projects in the last 10+ years. Trevor’s expertise is water front construction, on-site management, cost control, and scheduling every detail of your next project. Trevor held the position of President of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod.
Trevor married his wife Megan in September 2014. They live in Dennis with their three dogs, Lucy, Guinness and Huck.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Kerrie Petland
Kerrie joined the Meyer and Sons Team in March of 2023 after a 13 year career as a Police Dispatcher on Cape Cod.
From filing Town Demo & Building Permits to photographing the progress of a project out at a job site, each day is a bit different in her Business Development role with Meyer and Sons Builders.
On her days off, Kerrie can be found hiking a trail with her dog Clifford or exploring beautiful Cape Cod with friends & family.
OFFICE MANAGER
Danielle Robertson
Since joining Meyer and Sons as Office Manager in August of 2021, Danielle has been working behind the scenes to keep the administrative aspect of the business organized and proficient.
From her long career as a Manager with Dunkin’ Donuts, Danielle brought her expertise in fast paced environments, customer service and payroll along with her to her role at Meyer and Sons Builders.
During her free time, Danielle and her husband Kevin enjoy traveling, attending concerts of all genres & keeping up with their 5 cats.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Bailey Homan
Bailey joined the Meyer and Sons Team as an Administrative Assistant in April of 2024 after graduating from UMASS Amherst.
As an integral part of the office team, Bailey makes sure that the entire Team has the information, resources and support they need to keep multiple construction projects running smoothly while simultaneously addressing her own work-related “to do” list.
Bailey spends her time outside the office enjoying the company of her friends and family throughout New England.
Surveying
Brady Meyer
Brady Meyer represents the third generation of the Meyer family proudly working at Meyer and Sons. He currently works alongside his father, Darren, in the company’s Surveying Division, gaining hands-on experience in the field.
Brady is also pursuing a degree in Finance at Florida State University, where he will be entering his sophomore year. His involvement reflects the family's ongoing commitment to quality, tradition, and the future of the business.
